The Raid Jable Pájara-Playas de Jandía third anniversary hold on 25th and 26th of March 2011. Raid Jable is celebrated in the town of Pájara, in the Canary Island of Fuerteventura (Spain).

This is a genuine endurance hiking test, suitable for anyone capable of walking and ready to discover one of the most beautiful places in the world, in an event with a careful organization.

The Raid Jable is the perfect combination between healthy sport and the most natural and sustainable tourism.

Raiders participants
The event is open to participants tourism lovers of walking, hiking or nordik walking, whether beginners or higher level, and those who wish to take the tour running, fighting against the clock. And because of it there are three categories: tourist trophy, with short-course, hiking and running.

Route
Raid Jable consists of two stages: the first in a beautiful natural park, on the roads between large dunes, with tiny valleys of sand and small cliffs, and the second stage combines the largest chain of mountains on the island all over Jandia´s beaches, some of the most famous in the world.

The first stage consists of 22 km. for hiking and running and 13 km. to the participants of tourist trophy. The second is the queen stage, with 47 km. for walking and running and just 30 km. for tourist trophy. The route is indicative signals at crossings and route confirmation. The participant is given a route sheet, a road map with all the steps and a color map, scale 1:50.000, with the entire itinerary.

Controls and assistances (provisioning)
Raiders must present their route sheet card that will be signed in every pass control. Participants will find energy drinks and food (also water) in several areas of assistance provided in each stage, which is also medicine cabinet.

Organization
Club K y K Motor is technical organizer of Raid Jable agreed with Pájara´s Town Council and its Emergencies Services, Local Police, Civil Guard of Pájara, and with the collaboration of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura (government), Meliá Gorriones (hotel), Avis Canarias (rent a car) and Coca-Cola. K and K Club began organizing raids in 1984 and counts among its members with various experts in adventure races worldwide, mountain biking, jet skiing and even in the Rally Dakar.

Enter (registrations)
The period to enter at Raid Jable 2011 is since 2nd of January until 11th of March 2011, if not exceeded the limit of participants admitted. For the raiders in running tracks, the entry fee is 60 euros, if completed before February 20th and 70 euros if done later. For tourist trophy, the amount of registration fee is 40 euros until February 20th and 50 euros later.

The registration fee includes insurance, supplies of liquid and solid throughout the test, professional sports massage route road assistance vehicles, rescue vehicles on the road, map and detailed roadmap for phased, routing slip, free transportation to the output of the second stage, a photographer on the course, its own television production and a welcome gift.

K and K holds its events to support the programs of the Foundation for Help against Drug Addiction (FAD), since1995; and also in support of the Madrid Association of Child Support AMAIF, since 2007.
